Frankenstein
When redesigning this classic novel's book jacket, I wanted to put my focus on the character of Victor Frankenstein, not the Monster. The jacket is designed to showcase Victor's "anatomical drawings" of the components of the human body. It's like getting a peek into his sketchbook. The title font is a patchwork of pieced together
architectural fonts to mirror the broken pieces that make up the Monster. The human spine is placed strategically on the spine of the book, and the texture of the cover is meant to look like the worn parchment of a well-used diary.
